While there are many wager books kept under bars and in the desk drawers of gentlemen in New Babbage, when one refers to The Wager Book, one is most likely referring to the Wager Book kept on the back counter of ‘Cuffs, a drinking establishment for those of a sporting nature located on a prominent corner in Port Babbage.

Anyone may record a wager in the Book. It is not an official legal document, but it is assumed it would stand up in a court of Law, if there was such a thing in New Babbage. The sanctity of the Wager Book is one of the most highly regarded unspoken rules in the city. No one would dare alter the contents or deface it without facing the wrath of an angry drunken mob of gamblers.

No one is safe from the Wager Book.
