I am taking this opportunity to inform the citizens of New Babbage that Skyler Gant has been pardoned of any and all wrong doing connected with the murder of William DeFaw. Skyler Gant is free to walk the streets of our sooty city without fear of arrest.
For those of you who are unfamiliar with the unsolved murder of William DeFaw, I would suggest you read more A Murder in Pennyfeather Park
This morning Bookworm Hienrichs, Mayor Tenk, and I met for a discussion of the events surrounding the murder. Miss Hienrichs presented her interpretation of the evidence, and succeeded in convincing Mayor Tenk that someone else committed the crime. I must admit, that I was also swayed by her logic, and I agree that young Skyler Gant is in fact innocent.
Mayor Tenk promptly pardoned Skyler for the crime. The true murderer remains at large. We will of course continue to investigate the case.

If the fly was human, I’d hurt it. I still say DeFaw got what he disserved. Not only was he human, but he was a cold blooded evil one at that.
