It is nearly daybreak as I send this dispatch out to you. As you commanded, Ms. Bilavio was not disturbed during the night. An on looker attempted to approach, but was frightened by the others, who feigned drunken carousing with expert skill. The old one followed this interloper, and I shall have a report prepared for your shortly.
May the Good Lady guide us, all honor to her.

Shaking? Over a harmless man, watching from a high wall? I never knew you to be of nervous disposition Miss Jaggernov, but if you find yourself in the midst of a fidget, I’m sure my resources could offer an adequate remedy.

I wonder how long it will be before the Arcanians suddenly come to the conclusion that they are not in Arcania, but New Babbage, where certain liberties and rights are protected from such totalitarian practices…?
