The New Babbage Ladies Fire Protection Brigade assisted the Caledon Fire Brigade in putting out a large fire in Caledon Moors this afternoon.
Joining forces with the valiant Caledon firefighters, the Babbage Brigade worked diligently in quelling the fire that began, according to reports, with errant fireworks.
While the Jewell Garden Center sustained some damage, no one was injured. The store will reopen soon.
Miss Book was able to take a few pictures and will post them soon.
