Would anyone care to collaborate on a longer piece, perhaps in parallel with this year’s Tales project? Set it in New Babbage, of course; I write from the perspective of Cleanslate, each collaborator writes from the perspective of another character, and each chapter switches perspective. We rough out the plot ahead of time and then outline what each chapter is supposed to accomplish; store the pieces on a Google Drive as we create them.
No idea what the story might be about, but let me know if you’re interested and we can exchange plot ideas: email@example.com. If it comes out well Babbage Fiction Press can “publish” it. :)
Incidentally, if anyone is interested in getting their own Babbage novel/novelette published, BFP is an option for that too. Once we have a few titles we can sell them online and from a card table at steampunk conventions. I may set one up at the one in Waltham this weekend if anyone wants to join me.
