Brunel Hall is owned by Victor Mornington and has been through so many changes that the term ‘Morningtonizing’ is used to describe someone who is updating their building. In January 2010 it looked like this: I.K. Brunel Hall - The Extension, and the next year it was updated again. It has gone through so many updates and remodels that the only piece of the original building that has survived is a chimney stack. Considering how many other parts of the building have been changed some residents joke that this chimney stack has become some kind of monument.

Brunel Hall has hosted many dances and other events in its pool and in the Muirsheen Durkin bar attached to it. Events include:
