Update – OOC

(Being that I’ve been working a lot and in a depressive states for most other times, I haven’t been online as much as I should be. I have dj’ed once or twice, but as for rping, I’ve been rather off. And for that, I am so damn sorry. I’m trying to get back into SL, and I’ll try to keep up with the way the current storylines are going. You’ll have to bear with me, while I try to keep up. *laughs* I already have a horrid memory, so this ought to be fun. But I am looking forward to catching up, and I’m looking forward to trying to kick my depression in the butt so I can come on back and do what I set Maddie up to do in the first place. Help people/get into shenanigans! I can’t wait to see all of you!)

Spread the love

Well don’t let not being on SL get you depressed in and of itself. SL is for fun. When you feel up to it then you should come back. I mean look at me I come and go like the wind it seems but I’m back again. *hugs*

I am not a stranger to the strangling Black Hand. I do find SL, and especially New Babbage, quite therapeutic! Hope on in. We needs some happenings. I have been wandering Babbage lonely as a cloud of late…

Every now and again I get the want to go back, but all I end up doing is paying the rent on my land in Mondrago and checking on my in game horse. I will eventually play. I swear.

When you’re next in, catch up with the city — take a walk and see what’s changed.  If you’re only going to be in briefly, do see the Sunken Gardens, in Wheatstone, which are delightfully autumnal, and there’s the recent additions (all in Wheatstone) of the Murgam Asylum, The Treehouse (very tall), and the new paragon of Celestial SCIENCE!  The Whewell Observatory.  If you’ve decided to linger a bit, then the new and quite fashionable lunch spot Babbage Cabbage (which is in Port, I believe), a short walk from Wheatstone.  Now, they were filming a movie in our city, just yesterday, but if they’re done with that, then there ought be no troubles getting around, and even then, It’s New Babbage, so we’ll put up with Art for Art’s sake.

What movie, Jon? Saw some chatter about a machinima in Steampunks.

Perhaps we should have a social event for all the expats and dispossesed, and excuse for folks long outworld to come back in?

It was Designing Worlds yesterday around 1:30 I believe.

‘splains why I spotted Saffia in New Babbage a few days ago.

To be sure, Beryl’s the cat with all the facts at pawtip; now, it’s just a matter of finding out where/how this Designing World machinema can be viewed, I think, to see how it all turned out — and I expect it’ll be well done.

Expat holiday?  Of course, and what better reason, initially, than to see the City Hall proposals — only those who have spent some time in the city will appreciate the impact that a new city hall can have.  While they’re here, they can also see the other ways the city has changed — Sunken Gardens in Wheatstone, for example; in fact, quite a bit of Wheatstone.  The sights in Wheatstone alone will easily repay a Winter stroll through that region.  If this does come to pass, I could certainly suggest Miss Kimika’s picture of the Sunken Gardens as the background for the graphic to be emailed as an invitation with some welcoming captain scrawled across it.
