[UPDATE] Canal Fireworks and Burning Barrel Race 2015

I hope to see all the old faces and any new ones at this years Burnign Barrel Race. Lets Push SL to its limits :) and hopefully not burn down a building in the process this year. All welcome, adults, kids, magic users and monsters.

It’s almost that time again.

This year the Canal fireworks will be on Saturday 7th at 3pm SLT  while the Burning Barrel race will be held on Sunday the 8th at 2pm SLT .

Hopefully nothing as tragic as last year will happen. http://www.zippcast.com/video/b39aa3c734ead6aaa31

Any changes will be listed here :) Hope to see you all

[UPDATE]

This year will be a little different. While there will always be a winner in the race, it is still important for all Babbagers to get to the finish line. To encourage this i am building a bonfire in the shape of the legendary Margawr of the vernian sea, a verocious sea monster sometimes spotted by fishermen. The more Barrels that make it to the finish line the more likley the Margawr will catch fire and burn, so no one should give up!

I doubt whether there will be any burning buildings this year – there aren’t as many standing since last time!

Sadly I shall be in rehearsal during the race but look forward to any subsequent celebrations.
