Nice!  I wish I could ride this for my daily commute.

I hate to say this, but I can picture Emperor Crumb trying to board this thing at one of the stops and having to be extracted from the canal and resuscitated by passersby. Perhaps we should establish a hushed protocol to never mention to him that it’s named after him, to make it less tempting for him to wobblingly flirt with watery disaster. After all, there are plenty of pollutants in that ‘water’ as it is…

Casting a hasty glance over the remarks I notice the words “mention to him that it’s named after him” and rush off to attend to other matters, promising to attend to this one as soon as possible.

Last year he did have a slight accident and was lost in the Vernian Sea after falling off the port. Spent a week or so in the hospital when he washed back to shore.

Just shows how well he floats then, don’t it!

        Long Live the Emperor!

As I understand it from scientific acquaintances, alcohol is lighter than water.

The real danger is that nothing can survive in that ‘water.’ Were the Emperor to (Heaven/Science forbid) succumb to the caustic kaleidoscope of putrid toxins, everyone in New Babbage would be bound by duty to wear black all at once. The theory is that this would form a massive heat sink and melt the wax in the Coogar and Dark’s, ruining a beautiful floor. We simply can’t have this.
