Keeping the canals open to travel is a priority of the NBTA, and in winter the sturdy Steam Sleigh is just the solution. A capable engine powers treaded drive wheels and carries the vehicle along on skids, yielding a smooth (-ish) ride. One’s comfort is not compromised, and the journey is a safe one. Mostly. See the city from the luxury of the opulent cabin, or be adventurous and bare the winter elements to ride up front, if you dare. (Danger of being smeared onto the side of a bridge deck left down does increase while riding the front bench. Exercise caution. Prepare to jump)
