    It would seem a group of anarchists felt compelled to show contempt for our way of life.

      Hmm. I would have thought Caledon, or even Steelhead, would be more of a target for such a group than New Babbage…

        Why, and how so? Caledon is not an industrial hub in the same fashion we are, and Steelhead is most likely full of kindred spirits. New Babbage is a perfect target for those sabot tossing, red book waving, factory breaking rabble-rousers.

    My sentiments exactly Miss Carver.  Sadly, with the clockwinder still north in Falun for Christmas it is up to me to remain acting mayor in his absence.  I shall endeavor to perform my duties with utmost efficiency.

    He could throw them in the sea! *nods*

    That worked for us when those luddite folk came round and started smashing the machines.

    They did keep climbing out of the sea again, but we threw them back in until they were too cold and bedraggled to keep being angry, and then they went away to have a nice cup of tea.
