Relay for Life Information (Auctions and otherwise)

I’ll be leaving on a fairly extensive vacation in a couple of days, and will be definitely sans-SL from early afternoon Saturday through possibly as late as the 25th.  (Our return date depends on how much sightseeing we do on the way back. *grin*)  While I’m gone, Avariel Falcon will handle RFL fundraising issues–while she’s still here.  She’ll actually be on vacation from the 16th through the 23rd herself.

I’ve already approached a number of folks asking for contributions to the auctions we’re having at the end of the month, and gotten some confirmations.  We could always use more, though!  If you would like to donate a product or service, please either contact me today, or Avariel after today.

The “person auction,” where we auction off services (dances, custom creations, etc.) will be held June 30th, before the Piermont Landing ball.  The “thing auction,” auctioning off custom creations by some of our best builders, will be held July 1st in the afternoon (1 or 2 pm SLT), with another dance after that.

I would like to have the lists of people and items firmed up about a week before the auctions, so I can publicize them as much as possible.  Those making donations for the auctions, please provide a short description of your item or service to either myself or Avariel (you can email them to me at bookworm1225 at gmail dot com).

I’ll see you at the end of the month, and Go Relay!

Spread the love

Not yet, book has put me in touch with our RFL mentor-person-thing, and he said probably not until mid month or so though he;s not entirely sure when.

(Taking off in a couple hours, once I finish packing. Don’t blow up the city while I’m gone! *waves)
