OOC – Introducing myself :)

Hello everyone,

My name is Matthieu Manamiko, I have recently immigrated to New Babbage and rented myself a place to call home. In the past I have resided in Caledon but found my experience there rather isolated and the environment/community overwhelming in sheer size. Now I thought I would give New Babbage a try. I originally visited the area about two years ago, so it has been great exploring the many new regions and seeing that neat Maison Horta completed. I am drawn here because New Babbage is neither huge nor small.

I also wish to try my hand at light roleplaying since I am not a builder or scripter, so if you see me in the streets or on the map I’d be happy to participate. I consider myself always “in character” I suppose so as to be ready for anything, which is just a new resident of New Babbage. Roleplay-wise, I’m not looking to have a complicated character or have long-running stories and side plots etc.  I think I would be a good supporting/minor character, happy to be just part of the crowd. I’ve also found some old threads via Google about the state of roleplaying in New Babbage so I understand that many do not participate. I hope to finish reading through the Wiki and some of the newer blog posts over the next few days :)
