Just wanted to know lately I have been rather distracted by real life and other things (namely another game called Fallen London). I will be working on the site a bit tonight though and try to set up and fix things. I will probably log into SL as well.
Anyway with my life there’s nothing overly wrong but I have decided that eventually I will be moving to Maryland where I have a lot of friends and have been setting up things in my life accordingly. One of those things have been my finances and as such has made me look at SL and wonder if it is really worth the money I have been spending (don’t worry I don’t have any plans on leaving until I can’t actually afford it which by that time would probably mean after I move). Also the other things that has kept me away from SL a bit has just been utter frustration with my current builds. I love the buildings themselves but find it a pain to get textures that I think are appropriate for them.
So yeah just wanted to let you know.
*huggles* I’ve been wondering where you were. I’ve got the court house pictures for you whenever you’re ready for them. And depending on where you’re moving in Maryland – you’ll be about 2-3 hours away from me. So, you’ll have another friend not too far away.
Oh cool :3
I was planning around the DC area in general though.
I’ve really never spent a dime on SL until recently.
firs I wasn’t owning land, then for awile was coming up more or less even selling items on x-street.
if it got to the point where my finances were low, I’d probably sell my land, but I sure wouldn’t be leaving
My finances aren’t currently low I’m just trying to figure out where they are all going. But yeah if they were low I would sell off my land. Would have to keep the brewery in inventory though.
I understand completely, as I’ve been a bit busy myself, but a move is exciting! I’ve lived in a few different places in Maryland and some of them can be quite nice.
Yeah I can imagine. The idea I’ve been floating is basically live in the burbs inbetween DC, Baltimore and Annapolis just because it’d be easy to get to all of them that way, but of course it depends on where I find a job and what I can get.
I loved what I saw though when I went on vacation there not too long ago, but the main reason would be all the friends who I already know right in that area. Currently in Chicago I have very few friends that I can really hang out with, not that it means I don’t love the city itself… it just helps when you have friends to enjoy it with.
