Its been over two years since Jason Moriarty was finally defeated. Since then i have been busy rebuiling all my places and learning new tricks. Im delighted to say that im almost finished and ready to do roleplaying again. Coming back to roleplaying and story telling is hard since ive been building for so long.
On the 1st March at 3pm Mr Briggs of the Krakenwell & Co Factory will invite all New Babbage Businessmen to attend a trade fair style gathering to discuss business and perhaps form partnerships. The idea i hope will lead to a better understanding of business in New Babbage.
Today i will be sending out a notecard requesting names of those interested in roleplaying employement in two factorys opening in New Babbage very soon.
At these Factorys there will be a card punch clock that employees will need to clock into every day in order to get as many attendance points as they can. This will be a sort of game where the more points you get the more items you recieve for your loyalty and the more value you are to your employer. But be careful, the Employers can add and also remove your attendance points, so employees should do what they are told.
There can also be events such as inspections and competitions where employees could earn extra attendance points as well as rivalries and unexpected storylines.
As time goes on its quite possible that attentdance points could be used to purchase things but thats way down the road. Right now this clock system gives structure and room for RP to happen. The Clock system should be ready by the time the trade fair is held.
Employment is open to any working class resident of New Babbage not just Street Urchins, but adults to. Work will involve bottling Blacking for boot polishing and textiles cotton spinning.
Please grab a copy of the notecard sent in the Steampunk Kids and Steampunks of new Babbage Groups and return them to me (Loki Eliot) so i know how many is interested.
