Today I was tinkering inside the TARDIS when I noticed a few new settings on the Chameleon Circuit. Previously, I had believed that there were certain limits sizewise to the form the machine took, which is useful, but not very convenient if you are wanting to move it covertly. I knew that since I had documented its location in that hoax of a photograph I sent to the news paper, I needed to move it to a safer location. I discovered that there was a setting to drastically shrink it down in size! I used this to disguise it as a simple briefcase. I cannot believe it worked. Transporting it has become a breeze.
While I was moving it somewhere else, I decided to stop by City Hall. I had seen in the paper plans for a town meeting pertaining to the Homunculi. Inside, I ran into, shall I say, many people from the “Old Country” sitting around, chatting. I joined them, and I must say, it was nice to talk of home. It was the first time I had met a few of them. I wonder who else from the old world is here in Babbage. I hope to meet more of them. We talked of home, and of the mystery, and many other topics. Before long it was late into the evening, and I had to be on my way.
Once my TARDIS was safely relocated, I stepped inside and was startled by alarms going off… I was apparently being summoned. I am currently headed to see the council, though about what I do not know.

I was not being summoned by anyone. It was some sort of diversion. I don’t know what it was all about, but it has resulted in me being unable to attend the town hall meeting. I have read about what transpired in the town papers. Seems events this important got a special rush printing. Nothing left to do but to discuss events with those who were there while sipping some of Loki’s fine Absinthe. Not a perfect substitute, but not a bad way to spend the time.
