I spotted this today, I love the old style of the drawings, I bet if you have a new house built today they don’t give you plans quite like this !

i’m always amazed by the old russian styles, particularly the girth of the trees used in it. they don’t grow them that size anymore.
I saw a lot of work like #1 in the monstrous wooden picture frames at a polish monastry in illinois that is known among roadtrippers as “the grotto of the ultraviolet apocalypse”
was that all done with coping saws? talk about having time on your hands!
That first one has some serious gingerbread going on. Love it!
