Kusshon Ltd. Furniture at Academy is closed for now – Main Shop is still open.

Dear neighbours,

maybe some of you have recognized that i have closed my satelite store [kusshon] ltd. at Academy of Industry after more than 3 years (most of you will not, because most of you have had never noticed that there was a shop ^^). My Main Shop at strata with victorian and modern (from a victorian point of view “futuristic” ;) ) furniture is still open, marketplace is on the way to get filled with all the things i made and make.

So [kusshon] is still alive and i´m still a part of New Babbage with a Home Place at Academy.

Awww–I was actually in there a few weeks ago, and bought a couple of chairs.  Sorry to see you go!

It’s so easy to take a place for granted.  I did so like the items I bought for Christmas from your shop, and am very glad you’re still in business.  It makes sense to focus on areas where you will sell best.  I wish you all the best, and am glad you’ll still be living in Academy.

You will see me come back maybe… and dont forget: my main shop is open… if you have special ideas and wishes for an own project or a Babbage project – feel always free to ask me to built something for you.

So sorry that Mr. Whitfield is closing his New Babbage shop for business reasons. I’m sure it was, business reasons. Nothing to do with the Biologics Institute next door. Nothing! Nothing to do with spills or smells or… nope, nothing. Why would you even suggest such a thing? I mean, really, why? Why even bring up chemicals or fumes or dogs growing fifth legs? Who would even mention them, you’d just sound foolish! No one said anything about shoppers’ hair falling out. No one! It’s ridiculous! HAIR FALLS OUT! IT JUST DOES! IT’S NOT LIKE YOU WOULD SUE ANYBODY OVER IT!!

    Anyway, I blame Mornington.

During this last Christmas, as I perused the many tasteful items in your shop, it occured to me that your inventory really ought be available on the MP, as well — your furniture deserves a wider venue, and with one less shop to manage, that’s a bit more time to spend on your craft.  All in all, I think this is a good move for you, sir.  I shall be certain to visit your main shop; it is nice to see these things in person, so to say. :)

NB: I said nothing about the perpetual odor(s) wafting through the street, and while the Biologics Institute is, indeed, just nearby, I also note that Brunel Hall is also not that far away, and I would never dare to suggest the Brunel Kitchens as the clear source of this obvious public discomfort…
