The clockwork unicorn stood at the top of the observation tower at the power station looking down at the ground far below…
Then she looked at the hulking form of Unit #6…
“So… this aetheric crystal will give me wings so I can fly?”.
Unit #6 nodded, “Yes…”.
The clockwork unicorn looked at the ground again…
“And you made it out of left over bits of Falconite crystal from the meteorite?”.
Unit #6 nodded, “Yes…”.
“And bits of junk from the basement?”.
Unit #6 nodded, “Yes…”.
The clockwork unicorn pondered smashing into bits on the ground far below…
“And when it is charged from my power systems it works better than Cavorite?”.
Unit #6 nodded, “Yes… theoretically…”.
The clockwork unicorn moved a little closer to the edge….
“And you based this idea on well founded science?”.
Unit #6 nodded, “Yes… mostly…”.
The clockwork unicorn blinked, “Mostly?!”.
Unit #6 gave a thumbs up sign, “It… is… almost… safe…”.
The clockwork unicorn sighed and jumped off the edge shouting,
“For SCIENCE!”.
and soo pretty too !! :)
YaY for Prances that go to a whole new meaning now !
Hah, lovely! Though couldn’t you have tested it just as well jumping up from the ground?
Where is the fun in that?
This was a scientific adventure!
Yes! And whatever ‘appened there would ‘ave been a scientific discovery;
Experiment A: Can clockwork unicorns fly?
or
Experiment B: Do clockwork unicorns bounce when dropped?
Science can’t lose! :)
Yay!
Fortunatly we observed that clockwork unicorns can fly.
Now for Experiment C: Do clockwork unicorns dream of aetheric mice?
*squints and thinks*
Or something like that?
Fortunately. I feared that you were momentarily blinded by Science.
Sgt Underwood and I have developed a phlogeston system with quite a few applications. After we work out all the problems we are having with Major Oldrich, I will start experimenting with flight enhancement, perhaps?
