Another poor soul is dragged off.
What is this coming down the street?
It is an accident which is not standing around waiting to happen.
I’m telling you, this is not a good idea.
The steam shovel went out of control and ran off the dock into the water where we were shooting at the snake. Mr. Lorefield and Lady Chronometria were safely fished out of the water, Mr. Lorefield having only lost one boot – which he was rather upset about.
We continue to scan the surface of the water but to no avail. All the gunfire and steam shovel splashing appears to have driven it off. Mr. Mornington did sustain a bite to the leg from the beast but it appeared to be minor.
My typist wishes to express her chagrin at Victor being bitten by Sli– the snake.
((Heck on that! CALLING ALL WOMEN! Kick that thing’s butt! How dare it bite the man with the sexy voice!! HOW DARE IT!!))
You see? I keep telling you all it’s my typist that’s out of her mind…
Tsk. Mr. Mornington, would you care for me to have a look at the bite or have you had it tended already?

*flaps arms*
Eep! Eep! Eep!
