Come along and watch or participate in this brutal Victorian sport at the Carnival Tent in Babbage Canals.
The boxing game is freeplay, and you get your HUD, damage indicator and facial damage bits from the centre of the ring. Everyone plays with the same kit, movement is jerky and difficult for everyone. The fighting can seem a bit random at times, with the person winning suddenly having a reversal of fortune (happened to me, happened to others). Bouts can take quite a time. If you get upset at losing, don’t play!
Spectators seem to enjoy the fighting, but be aware, still working on the benches, soonly one person can sit on each one (except ocasionally!).
There may be a boat based smuggling game soon, so there are lots of reasons to come and join in!
