10 years ago what was (at the time) the latest region appeared north of Port to fill in the gap east of Palisade, that region became the Academy of Industry.
The second of the north end regions of the city also became the home of something that would be built, and rebuilt, and rebuilt…over…and over…and over again. The Grand Old Lady of the Steamlands… Brunel Hall Hotel.
October 10th saw the “official” opening of the original single floor version of Brunel Hall while Sandbox Week was still going on in what was the latest region added to the city.
Join Vic Mornington in Goodbye Muirsheen Durkin bar in the basement of Brunel Hall, time to dust off the place for an event!
