No, Boxing Day isn’t the day when New Babbagers bundle up in their best winter gear with rosy cheeks and joy in their hearts to congregate at ‘Cuffs for a day of pugalistic merriment. (As much fun as it sounds.)
In fact, most people can’t say what Boxing Day is, except that it’s traditionally the day after Christmas. Most sources agree, however, that it had something to do with providing for the less fortunate in some way, so we’ve decided to provide the city’s littlest residents with a fine turkey dinner.
Adults are welcome, but you may be called on to help serve the urchins!
Victor Mornington will be providing the music, and there will be plenty of refreshments and festivities for all.
