6th Europa Wulfenbach Games Days

Salutations to all Citizens of the Steamlands and friendly cities.

The sixth Consulate of Europa Wulfenbach Game Day was a bit hard to settle; time travel can be finicky. Still, we invite all to join us for another 30 hours-long day filled with excitement, on September 14 and 15 as we will share “The Time Traveler’s File: Ancient Egypt!” Embark on a trip to 4000 years ago, and back with the Consulate staff!

Here is what you can expect:

Saturday, September 14th:

15:00 – 17:00 Opening Ball:
Pass through the timegate for a dance in Mieville Doyle, with music provided by Ms. Willow Leafstorm. Suggested dress code: Ancient Egypt, exploration, steampunk. (Formal attire will also be acceptable, of course.)

17:00 – 19:00 Turtle race:
Armada’s Famed Turtle Races come to New Babbage as part of The Europa Wulfenbach Games Day Celebrations!  Guide your trusty turtle to glory, or death and destruction in seas of fire!
Winners get snazzy awards!  Shiny!

19:00 – 21:00pm Shooting game:
Better bring your weapons, for Zanya has again outdone herself! Read the attached notecard for the background information and landmark.

Sunday, September 15th:

10:00 – 12:00 En Garde team tournament:
Better not fight alone! So why don’t you gather a team (a Captain, then a second, third and fourth player; you can send replacements too) and enter this En Garde tournament in MariKesh Mondrago?

12:30 – 14:00: Fishing contest
Ancient Egypt doesn’t have to be all about fighting for your life! Why not take a rest and fish on the Nile… I mean, in Caledon Kittiwickshire? Just mind the crocodiles and hippopotamus! Any 7Seas fishing tackle acceptable.

14:00 – 15:00 Horse race: – CANCELED!
But we invite you to join the Steamlanders for the Aether Salon in Babbage Palisade and Academy for the 47th Aether Salon, this one about Courtesans.

15:00 – 16:30 Ice Cream Social:
On our way back to our time, why not make an extra stop in Seraph City for some ice cream? Certainly it will be most enjoyable after all that heat! Why not make it an occasion to offer suggestions for the next Game Day?

17:00 – 19:00 Closing Ball:
Change to your best formal attire as we celebrate the end of another successful Game Day at Antiquity House Chamber, turned into a museum for the occasion! The music will be provided by Ms. Patty Poppy.

Click on the posters scattered around the Steamlands for additional information.

See you there!
