I can not believe how time flies. Less then two months ago we were up to our necks in Whitechapel filth and what was looking to be a long and Bloody fall. Politics, bedfellows and countrymen can conspire for good or for evil. Either way the end result was relocation for my associate and companion Miss Jacy Katz and myself from our Townhouse on Sommerset Street in Whitechapel to our lovely new home in Rutherford. Much unpacking has left us with little time for anything else. It’s has been a slow go but we are almost through the worst of it.
I have taken up offices in what i believe is called “The Gut”. By the looks of the neighborhood, I think our services may be called upon sooner than later. We are still moving in but most of our equipment has arrived from London so we shall be ready to open our doors shortly.
Welcome to New-Babbage!
Why thank you. We are settling in nicely and it already feels like home here.
Psst, don’t eat the street meat in the Gut. You never really know where it comes from. Welcome to town.
Thank you Master Lighthouse. I tend to avoid street meat as I had an unfortunate run in with an Eel Pie vendor in Whitechapel not too long ago. turns out the eels were worms and and the source of the worms, lets just say didn’t come from the ground. Thank you for the advanced warning.
Ah, you must be my new neighbors.
Welcome to New Babbage. I happen to be the Chief of Medicine at the Blackberry Harvey Memorial Hospital, located in Wheatstone. If you need any assistance or would like to help us in the future, feel free to let me know.

P.S. No, I did not realize I was living in the Gut until I moved in. At least it’s somewhat peaceful in my area.
Ah well, i knows why that is, yer see, the blokes as live either side of yer is high class purveyors of stole.. err.. borrowed goods, an as everyone knows, good fences make good neighbours….

sage advice from one of our wisest citizens
Yes it seems we are right across the street from you. I am very interested in what is happening at the hospital in Wheatstone, as it has been almost three months since I resigned my position at the London Hospital Medical Academy. I look forward to conversing with you on matters medical and metaphysical.
