Well, Underby is still here running city hall in my bar, and he’s obviously not going to give me a job so I can move up in the world. Nothing to do but watch and learn. Watch and learn, right?
Here’s what I’ve learned.
You have to be an idiot to get ahead in politics. No one wants anyone smarter than themselves near them because it will expose how stupid they are, so the structure is in a constant state of dumbing down. I’ve been watching these so called city officials come and go for months now, and you know what? I’m smarter than all of them put together.
The reason Underby won’t give me a job is becuase he knows I’m smarter than him. That makes me a threat. So no wonder he calls me “boy” and wants to keep me in my place.
Watch and Learn.
