Closing City Hall? Interesting. I wonder who they have in mind to run New Babbage, if they’re minded to close down our seat of government? *considers Babbage as governed by Tenk, vs. Babbage as governed by a cloister of dour, magic-hating lunatics* Sorry, my vote’s still for the short, taciturn guy. No reason I can think of why he can’t run the City from a local pub, even if the Ordo has a bee up its bum about City Hall for some reason. *grin*

You forgot the third alternative for city governance. *sashays off whistling*

From you, it’d be Hoy-town, ya ruffian!

*Reply by Tepic Harlequin on May 6, 2010 at 4:22pm
oh! dibs on the dagger!

*Reply by Byron Wexhome on May 6, 2010 at 4:28pm
Ah good…Babbage hasn’t changed so much after all…

*Reply by Bookworm Hienrichs on May 6, 2010 at 4:29pm
((Maybe it’s a leftover? Or is there one on all the doors again?))

*Reply by Cyan Icewolf (Cyan Rayna) on May 6, 2010 at 5:18pm
((Well nothing seemed to ever come from it maybe they are restarting it again.))

*Reply by Kaylee Frye on May 7, 2010 at 3:22pm
Pretty sure it’s a leftover from when they got put up around town a while back.

*Reply by Jimmy Branagh on May 8, 2010 at 2:58pm
Oy don’t think so. Not much ‘appens in Babbage th’ urchins don’t know about.

*Reply by Queer Hermit on May 7, 2010 at 9:21am
I might suspect a pre-emptive strike by the Ordo as there is a town hall meeting coming up on the 22nd of this month.

The one that was left at the aquarium is still there too. I’ve not looked at the others lately.

ponders opening a dagger factory

Hmm… I thought my clockwork workers poped that fly-poster through a window to the wasteland deserts… maybe he managed to somehow get back… must research more remote locations to send nuisance callers…

*Reply by Victor on May 10, 2010 at 1:38pm
Pfffft…obsolete cult full of raving lunatics.

I pulled the dagger they placed in my hotel and lab and threw them into the canals.

*Reply by Tepic Harlequin on May 10, 2010 at 3:24pm
and do you know how difficult it is to dive down an retrieve daggers in the canals? geezzz… you’d think you could throw em somewhere useful, like in front of any deserving urchin…

*Reply by Mara Razor on May 12, 2010 at 3:55pm
I agree. It is a terrible thing to waste a perfectly good knife, and one can never have too many knives.

*Reply by KronoNaut on May 12, 2010 at 6:23pm
I’m assuming that Victor meant that he kept the daggers, but threw the loonies in the canal. :)

Since when do we pay attention to notices?

*Reply by Father Ora Moonwall on May 14, 2010 at 3:29pm
Since they come from the One and True church.

*Reply by Lans Starsider on May 14, 2010 at 4:02pm
One and True? Isn’t that a bit presumptuous?

*Reply by Mr Underby on May 14, 2010 at 4:20pm
Have you met Moonwall? He is full of presumption… and other things.

*Reply by Tepic Harlequin on May 14, 2010 at 5:49pm
Tepic thinks back over the One True Churches he has known, and wonders if it is the one with the squiddy thing, the one that worships the giant centipede, or possibly one where they turned people into mummies, or even the one that worshipped a small furry blue thing that sort of glowed and hummed when you touched it (that was a strange one…). H shrugs to himself, all too complicated, and goes back to playing his flute to himself….

Ceejay thinks anyone or any thing narcissistic enough to think they are One and True… need a drink. Now.

I personally think they may need a straight jacket.
