What to do about the Barrel Race?

I’ve noticed that The Burning Barrel Race on the 10th of November will clash with the Breakfast in Babbage and if ealier, a book discussion at the RF Burton. 

Would like opinion to wether we should…..

1. Hold the Race after Breakfast in Babbage at 4pm SLT (midnight GMT)

2. Perspone the event till the following Saturday 17th at 2pm slt

3. Stick to the original time of November 10th at 2pm SLt and say BAGHHHH! to these other events.

    As its on Saturday I would push it on to 4PM (Midnight), we can crash out on Sunday afterwards. ^_^

    So no Moving to the weeke after, So need more votes for either Keeping 2pm time or moving to later at 4pm slt

    I’d say since it’s a once-a-year event keep it as it was.  Moving it to 4pm will lose most of the Europeans.

    Would prefer 2pm myself, as tend to shut down a little later. If it did more, and as it’s Saturday, i just might be able to make a midnight UK start (4pm slt), but there is a danger i might fall asleep while pushing a burning barrel….. ;-)

    Hi Loki :) ‘how about a compromise .. @ 3pm slt . just an idea (it is a saturday ) midnight is such a festive time .. smiles

      3PM sounds good, you could take in the start of Breakfast in Babbage then retire to the streets for a spot of barrel rolling. *nods*

    OK a 3PM start, seems to be the prefered compromise. Please try not to get too drunk before the race.
