Stormy whistled to himself as he crunched through the snow covered streets of Clockhaven, a flannel bag slung over his shoulder as he collected cogs, and screws, various bric-a-brac off the street. He needed a creative outlet but lacked the money to buy anything to make any new gadgets.
As Stormy stepped onto the snowy beach of Clockhaven, over looking the nearly winter sea, a wicked grin spread across his face, the kind of grin that a Mad Scientist gets when he gets an idea in his head, or when Skyler or Gil come across an unattended pie in a windowsill. What before his eyes did appear, washing up on the rocky beach? Why it was the remains of an old steam boat, the kind one uses for traversing the canals.
“Where did this come from?”
Stormy asked himself, half expecting an answer as he tapped his chin for a moment. Cogs began to turn in his head as he looked over the rusted steam engine, and worm eaten hull of the once usable steamboat.
“Yer gonna need a lotta love, but I can make you better!”
Stormy drug the wrecked steam boat up onto the beach, where the tide couldn’t reach it and reclaim his prize.Stormy would be back later with a wagon to haul it back to the house in The Gut. He would be very busy indeed.
My boat will be better.. *Looks at old scraps of cloth to craft a balloon*
Yay!
Anyone know where one can procure a number of child sized parachutes? I just know the rest are going to be clamboring aboard that thing once he’s finished it.
