Professor Falcon woke to find Bunny XXVI jumping on her head again!
Thump! Thump! Thump! Thump!
“Ouch! Stop that!”
The bunny jumped down onto the floor of the cave with a sigh.
“So, what shall we have for breakfast” pondered Avariel aloud.
Bunny XXVI answered by bounding off and returning a few moments later with a stick.
Avariel sighed, “sticks again!”.
The bunny nodded enthusiastically!
“I know they are full of crunchy goodness, but what I would give for a nice apple right now”.
The dark unicorn had just started eating her stick when the ground shook with a violent tremor! A burst of wind boomed past the cave entrance carrying a multitude of debris with it!
“By the Builder, may his compass be pointy! What was that!” Avariel exclaimed.
Bunny XXVI hid in the corner shaking.
“Oh, a huge aetheric shockwave?”.
The bunny nodded.
“What is going on in these mountains?!”.
Avariel looked outside the cave apprehensively.
“It seamed to come from a long way over there, maybe we should investigate?”.
The bunny just hid in the corner trembling until Avariel picked them up by the ears and put the bunny on her back.
“Come along bunny, its possibly almost safe!”.
Bunny XXVI sighed.
