Yes, undoubtedly a wretched hive of scum and villiany.

Aw, a shame I could not have been there to soak in the ‘bon ami’.

The Bucket of Blood is a bookstore?
Facinating… I think the idea of a bookstore that also has an area where you can enjoy refreshments could catch on…

It is the opposite.  It is a saloon which also has books, should one become bored by one’s own inibriation.

Aye, it was quite the busy place last night. Oh, and Underby, you owe me for acting as barkeep at the close of the night…I think your employee was frightened off by our friendly neighborhood men of the cloth.

Bib, frightened?  I think that unlikely.

He didn’t mention the Brothers to me, but did mention someone saying an “Old One” was across the street.   I believe he was trying to find me to tell me about that.

I will pay you in drink when I next see you, if that is acceptable.  Unopened bottle, I know how you are.

Frightened as all cowards are, yes. Your man was quite eager to threaten the students with his knife. He did not seem willing to engage me.

Bib does what he is paid to do.  I was not aware there were more than two monks in town.
