[img_assist|nid=6161|title=|desc=|link=popup|align=left|width=680|height=410]Thanks to Garnet Psaltery and Nymlet for the wonderful Euro Timezone Friendly Musical Entertainment Event, held at the Back Room at the Whitby Cake And Tea Co. Yard on Wednesday October 17th at noon.
The event appeared to be quite enjoyed by the surprising number who attended. There does seem to be a demand for such an event on a regular basis.

Having timed the function for a Wednesday evening on this first occasion, Miss Psaltery did inquire about the suitability of this time for future occurances. It seemed to me to work very well. I certainly welcomed the opportunity to see many who are unable to attend events more suited for those in North America.
Nymlet’s unique mix of musical tastes kept the floor moving, and there were no reports of any severe violence at this first event. Bravo, Ladies :D
*applause, applause!*
For quite literally years now, I have heard grumblings that there are no events at a Euro-friendly time. My comment has always been “don’t wait for someone else to do it… just do it!”
And you all did, and had a great time. I hope there’s many more parties like this in the future! And if I happen to have a day off work (I’m US Eastern Time) I’ll pop in and enjoy your company.

I actually managed to sneak out of work about a half hour early (living in the eastern NA time zone as well) and caught the end of the party. It was a marvelous time.
Glad you enjoyed yourselves, and thank you, Miss Wells, for your kind article. It’s certainly not going to be the last! The next one is on Saturday 27th – same time, 12 noon to 2pm. Hope to see you there!
