Tales of New Babbage V.3 – finally going to print it!

At long last, after the usual delays, Tales Volume 3 is heading for the press in time for Christmas. (What really happened was the Boiler Elf appeared in Mr Cleanslate’s office with The List and threatened to write his name down. Mr Cleanslate counts it as just another acoholic hallucination)

Righto, so here’s the link to preorder your copy

Not all stories that were submitted were used, as the editors needed to draw a line and get on with things, but those extra stories have not been discarded, but put in the V4 file. Thanks to everyone who participated.

Spread the love

Slight problem… the contribution page on splitzee allows the choice of USA or Canada as the address county, no other choice! errrrr………..

yup yup, we’re working on it. splitzee might still have a few bugs in the rug that circumstances never caused to come to light before. keep reporting the hiccups, i’m relaying them all.

Do those of us who paid on Kickstarter for V3 need to do anything?

We never did Volume 3 on Kickstarter.  Just 1 and 2.

Hi all – Splitzee just implemented PayPal for those of you outside the U.S. and Canada. You can use your PayPal account or try your credit card – if it doesn’t work post it here.

Cleetus – does your Canadian postal code work with PayPal?

That worked! It took my address from my PayPal account, so at least there is somewhere to deliver to! Be aware, I did not click the “anonemous” button on the first tab, where direct payments are made. There is no such button on the PayPal page, and my rl name is on the list – no real problem for me, but would have prefered not or game name, such is life! Anyhow, look forward to reading all those Tales!

      Worked on Paypal – thanks.

May I enquire: who is the person who coordinates this project? Are they accepting new submissions? In what format are the submissions required? Can images be submitted too?

(My apologies for all the questions.)

AEolus Cleanslate has, so far, coordinated the publishing, while Clockwinder Tenk coordinates the story submissions, with help from various volunteers.  While Volume 4 is not officially a go at this time, I don’t see a reason why it won’t be eventually.  Submissions are generally in Word-type format – Google Docs is a *huge* help.  And no, we haven’t been able to include images so far, and I doubt that’ll change.  Sorry.

      Hope that answers everything!

Thank you Bookworm for your feedback. My stories are image intensive, produced as graphic novels and cartoon strips, so I guess I’ll just have to hold fire on this project for the timebeing. I do appreciate your time in coming back to me. Thank you.

Well, we do both print copies and e-books.  (In fact, we do print copies first.)  Graphic stories would be cost prohibitive for us.

At last! I’ve started reading it, as the physical version is still out there somewhere! Now I can see what we have all written! :-)

Congratulations. The listing looks brilliant. Good luck with the project.
