So I’ve been really nervous about posting this as it is a very VERY new venture for me. However, I’ve had a couple people suggest I give it a go.
I create steampunk attire IRL and own a little store known as Sprockets and Lockets. The idea behind my store is affordable steampunk attire for aspiring and veteren steampunks. I do men, women, and lil urchin garb and now wish to take it one step further.
I opened up a little auction house here in New Babbage to give this a go, but I would like to make my items open to your typist and you pay the linden for it. For example, I have a few lockets in auction right now. Starting bid is 100L which is roughly .42 cents. Should nobody outbid you, you get a locket that your typist gets to hold and enjoy realistically, and when the time comes, so will you!
I know it’s odd to think of something like this working, but it’s the same concept as in e-bay, but in our little “town.”
Yes…there is a risk on both ventures, but that’s with interweb auctions period.
So should any care to take a chance, please visit my little store in New Babbage across from Michael’s Ballroom.
…oh and wish me luck?
Bianca
