Spirit of Wheatstone submarine undergoing test runs on the Blake Sea

testing for Fleet Week. Positive runs on the Vernian Deep, secondary testing in Clockhacken harbour and Blake Sea

Engine is 8 Cylinder radial stirling. Heat source is hot water heated by white phosphor powder. Cold source is sea water. Best performance in arctic conditions. Performs adequately in temperate conditions.

Quadrispherical bow entry hatch.

Drive shaft to 8 blade screw.

Ballast tanks good to 200 fathoms depth. Hull secure to same depth.

Onboard consumables for 10 hours. No armaments.
