          The Phoenix Log Haulers built in Wisconsin look a bit more robust than that.

            Good eye.  The Phoenix was actually built on license from Lombard’s patent, and that one in your picture has the later gear drive, as opposed to the chain drive from the original drawing.

             

            Whatever the case is, I love the design.
