RFL Sneak Peek

Less than 2 days to go for the RFL crew to build, can they do it?

The crew is building as fast as they can, between bouts of real life, so we can travel up on holiday to the mountains and escape the summer heat of the city.

That’s right, pack your bags, because this weekend, for one weeekend only, we are going to Falun.

I highly recommend installing Second Life 3.6.1 (278007) Jun 27 2013 so you can see it as it is meant to be seen.

This is the most intestive, time consuming, largest build i have ever been involved in…. family have not seen me for the last two week, work phoned to ask if i was still alive, and when it’s finished i think i will keel over for the next week exausted! Have no idea how people manage this sort of thing all the time, but the others on the team have been great, thank you all!

Thank you as well Tepic for putting in so much time and effort.  It hasn’t been easy on anyone involved, but thanks to everyone I think we managed to get everything important working.

For everyone visiting, have shadows and lighting on if you can, and sound effects at the plateau.

The closing hours of Relay were a deeply emotional time for many people.  I returned to the Babbage site at the end, having attended the closing ceremonies and made my final lap.  I stood by the side of the track to wave on the last relayers, carrying the flag of New Babbage.

I was aware that some filming was being done but assumed, as I had not been asked to participate and as I ignored calls to go into the corridors, that I would not form part of this filmed project.

Whatever the merits or otherwise of this creation, I am disappointed to see a very personal and moving moment used to look like something else without my knowledge or consent.

I did try to provide information and I did not get a opt out reply from you.  I have removed it from my channel.

    It will not be shown.

An opt-out reply to what?  I was never asked about it.  Just cut me out and you can still show your video.
