Last year i tried to use Shared Media to display video within Second life.
I would like to gage wether people prefered to watch the videos inworld on a prim, or outside in a web page?

web page.
the only time i turn on media is when i go to squeebees.
In world is more immersive, it looks cool too.
I seam to recall that last year you had both options available, maybe stick with that?
I like it inworld best for immersion to, but (as you know) I prefer to use Quicktime servers as its more compatible with us luddites on V1 viewers than shared media.
I think its important video that is live or realtime is inworld, but less important if its accessing an archive file for instance.
The hybrid approach can work well, having a prim display inworld, but including a clickable link for browser/legacy viewers.
Outworld for sure, just for bandwidth. Inworld video is dicey for me…
