Public Clocks Making a Comeback

According to the front page of the Washington Post today, there is an inexplicable and sudden interest in installing or restoring public clocks that the clockmakers just can’t figure out. Hmmmmmm.

    I think there is a bit of a backlash against things digital, even among technology folks.  Data is fleeting.  Mechanical endures.  It engages you in a different, tactile way.  It’s warmer.

    I agree, Junie. And while digital is good it isn’t always best. I like the way the hands of a clock represent time as physical space. Easier for we visually oriented types to grasp.
