The mill of the fells is a windmill which utilizes the sea breeze, so prevalent in New Babbage, to turn an archimedes screw and pump water from the lands below sea level. Having been built of sturdy brick with a copper roof, it’s been here for as long as anyone can remember standing like a lonely sentinel watching the fells.
