Listomania

I generally put up playlists of my DJ sets because it acts as a memory for remembering who likes what song.  All too often, someone will ask me about a song that got played last time, and this kind of reference is invaluable to me.  Shhhh, that’s just a secret between you and I.

The playlist at the Tiny Tin was a heck of a lot of fun, so here it is in its full glory:

The Cruxshadows – Monster
David Bowie – Scary Monsters
Frankie Goes to Hollywood –  Relax (12″ extended mix)
Oingo Boingo – No One Lives Forever
Rosetta Stone – Adrenaline
Apotheosis/Apoptygma Berzerk –  O Fortuna Never Dies
Iggy Pop – Lust for Life
Birmingham 6 –  Thunderstruck
Lights of Euphoria – Wicked Games
Front 242 – Headhunter
Shriekback – Nemesis
Sex Pistols – No Feelings
The Ramones – The KKK Took My Baby Away
* Jesus and Mary Chain – Revolations
* The Stooges – I Wanna Be Your Dog
* The Revolting Cocks – Beers, Steers, and Queers
Red Flag – Once Past Twice Future
* The Cure – Freakshow (Wolves at the Door Mix)
* The Marionettes – Ave Dementia
* Jill Tracy – Doomsday Serenade
Voltaire – Coin Operated Goi
Thou Shalt Not – If I Only Were a Goth
Ministry – The Land of Rape and Honey
Sisters of Mercy – The Adrenochrome
Bauhaus – Bela Lugosi’s Dead (yes the long version)
* Soulwax – Party People
* Sisters of Mercy – This Corrosion
Peter Murphy – The Sweetest Drop
* Ministry – Jesus Built My Hotrod
Lady Gaga vs. Cartman and Christopher Walken – Poker Faces
* Dean Grey – Dr. Who On Holiday
Queen vs. Satan – It’s Fun to Smoke Dust
1000 Homo DJ’s – Supernaut
* Collide – White Rabbit

Asterixes denote a request.  Oddly enough, I can usually remember who requests a song, but if I don’t write it down it just flies right out of my brain.

Spread the love

      Thanks!  Tweren’t bad for coming up with it on the fly.  Usually I prepare a day or so in advance to keep musical speedbumps at a dull roar.
