HDR in Photoshop – Brunel Hall Test

Not long ago Booky and Cyberfautus made blog posts about HDR.

HDR is High Definition Rendering.  In a photographer’s sence, you take a number of pictures of the exact same scene (above 4 pics for best results) at varying shutter speeds to make a set of pics from the dark to the obviously too bright.  Then these pictures is ran through an imageing editor (like Photoshop CS5 which is what i used) and the editor merged the pictures into one, discarding changes to the upper and lower spectrum and concentrating on the highlights and tones of the middle spectrum to bring out the details…

    ((must.. gets.. another…  SLI graphics card!)) – the environmental effects you achieve are incredible.

    Nice HDR shot… although I thought HDR meant High Dynamic Range

    Yeah i think it is High Dynamic Range…i keep getting it mixed up with the term from 3D Studio Max XD rofl
