Kudos to the committee, and to ‘Big Blue’ for hosting the event.  My thanks go out to Amadeus Hammerer, who stepped up for the Ironclad battle and ‘took gray’ so I wouldn’t be all by myself, Victor “sail-boy” Mornington, and of course the boys at Murakami Steamworks who made me an ironclad that pulled out a victory for the Smokes.

I’d also like to thank all of you who came out to see the events.  While I was preocupied driving and shooting at the time, I was told the ironclad battle was great to watch from the observation decks.

It was great to watch, Jed! Quite the show!

And thanks for pulling me from the stands to be your gunner those last few rounds. Talk about fun! *grin*

Well, I have to thank you for the great fun and the honour to be part of the babbage naval militia.

It’s always great to represent your home country!

I enjoyed the fleet week and it gave me inspiration for more. I would love to see more fleet action in babbage! Maybe we can start some exercises from time to time?

Many thanks to Nathaniel for giving a perfect harbouratmosphere with his tug.
