The Second Life TV show ‘Designing Worlds’ will be filming a special Christmas episode here in New Babbage, and is looking for extras to appear in the finale! You will not have to all be filmed at one set time, as all extras will be shown running outside to peer around in wonder and amazement at… well, something. (Can’t reveal too much yet. *wink*)
Please contact Saffia Widdershins or Bookworm Hienrichs if you’d like to take part, and filming arrangements will be made. The more, the merrier! Filming will take place over the US Thanksgiving weekend, Nov. 23-25.
(Please note: Those taking part will have to have their property (or wherever they’re running out of) good and snowy. This will be a Christmas episode, after all!)
I’m happy to help if you need a handy unicorn. *nods*
im up for smoking a pipe in the background
Oh! sounds fun… but US time or a compromise? Usually alseep US time, us urchins need lots of sleep, yer know!
I’m sure UK times can be accommodated easily. Saffia’s from the UK herself, after all!
Good show! Yay!
I encourage everyone who is able to do this – Designing Worlds has built up quite the tradition over the years of returning to Babbage for special episodes. (And for turning our hometown sandhog, Mister Biggins, into the popular superstar and object of fangirls affection.) So, get in on Babbage history in the making! Plus…. it’s fun to be on television, admit it!
I am searching for snowdrifts but am determined the Yard will be suitably dressed for the occasion. If by some mysterious means it ensures the safe return of Mr. Biggins then it is all the better!
OK, extras filming will mainly be done tomorrow (Tuesday). Beq Janus (and Elrik Merlin, if needed) will be handling the filming, so times will definitely be more UK-friendly. Please contact Beq (if I haven’t already asked you to do so) to let her know your willingness and availability.
I should be about, just say what, where, when and you too can have a unicorn friend! Yay!
I didn’t see this until today and would have offered up any of my plots for recording in/on.
Its not happened yet *is waiting in the snow*
*has been movieanated!*
Me too – isn’t it exciting!
