Back in Babbage

Walking the street again was an odd feeling. Loki had not been gone all that long, but upon seeing the amount of change and progress in New Babbage made it seem like he had been gone an eternity.

Arriving at the Imperial Loki stood infront of the big doors.

‘SOLD’ in big official letters greeted the boy who stood with a troubled brow.

‘Sold to who?’ he said out loud to no one in particular before sighing and turning to plod past the absinthe Cafe. On the door was pinned a letter which Loki pulled off and tried to read. It was written in a way that used very big long words and Loki managed to recognise at least a few words. ‘Gone’ and ’empty’ were words Loki understood and the word ‘abban…doonned..’ it looked important what ever the word was. It all made no sense to him. One word ‘repo..sessed’, was this saying the cafe was haunted? Loki put the letter in his pocket and decided it best to take it to someone who could read big words. It was then he heard a huge explosion to the north.
