Deep in the Fells…
In the middle of the mountains north of the Fells, sat a large building. To the untrained eye, this building looked as if it had sat unoccupied for decades. However, this building held a secret. Behind its patina stained doors and dilapidated roof, this rather inconspicuous looking building held items of such wonder, items that most people would not believe could exist, items of extreme danger and marvel. Items that must be locked up…
Orpheus crawled deeper into the belly of the boiler apparatus. It had stopped running, but he just could not find the problem. Suddenly, he heard a voice call out from behind, causing him to bash his head on the pipes in surprise. “What the….. why…. @^%$*!!@!”
“Mr. Angkarn,” a firm voice shouted. “Is that any way to show respect?”
Orpheus crawled out and saw who was speaking to him. “Regent, I’m so sorry. I didn’t expect anyone down here. How can I help you?”
“You have been working here in the warehouse for a few years now, have you not?”
Orpheus wiped the grime away from his face as he nodded in the affirmative.
“I have a mission for you.”
Orpheus began to argue. It had been quite some time since he had been sent out in the field. “What about the other agents? Surely, they are more well suited for an endeavour of this magnitude?”
The Regent continued, unfazed. “I believe you will want to handle this one. Some… unfinished business of yours. You handled yourself admirably with the Time Vault, and the matter of that foolhardy pirate captain. You will do just fine. And I believe you already know the neighborhood. Follow me.”
A few minutes later, Orpheus and the Regent stood in the main office staring down at the printout being spit out by the massive analytic engine. Orpheus looked at the readout, eyes unblinking. “That… that can’t be right, can it?”
“I’m afraid it is. The hammer has gone missing, and think we both know who will be after it. You must find it, find it before he does. It is crucial. I need you to go now.”
