Babbage Chronicles – Clock’in

So it’s finally started. Two prominant Factory owners have joined forces to help the streeet destitute and working classes gain employment in New Babbage.

This RP uses as Scoring System called ‘Clock’in’ at it’s core to bring people together and RP in the factories. The aim of this small game is to come into work once a day to click the clock and earn attendance points which will help you make yourway up throught he ranks and collect various items.

The HUD that comes with the Clock’in System will give you extra options to animate your avatar for work on site while also helping with finding clues in mysteries that will occur later in the coming months (if all goes to plan).

Employment at the factories are open to all working class citizens of New Babbage young or old. Simply choose the factory you wish to work and get your Free Clock’in HUD.

It would be fun if there was an employers package, so we could set up jobs at our places of work. *nods*

Thats something that would be interesting Avariel, infact i already plan to write a forum post requesting locations that i can use to place items needed for encounters. I can then write specific encounters for those places used. I will be writing the forum post later today.

I think some urchins could help with a little problem I have at the power station.

These days the portal is proving very popular for transporting adventurers and luxury cargo, but this has led to a maintenance issue. There is a lot of machinery in the underspace that supports the portal which needs regular maintenance. Nothing too hard, oiling, topping up tanks, pulling rogue metal shards from the shift coils, that sort of thing.

The problem is that my clockwork workers are made of metal so they interact with the aetheric fields around the apparatus, so we have to keep shutting down the portal to carry out this work which reduces the profitability of the portal generator.

Urchins however are made of squishy stuff and water so they could work in the underspace without any issues while the portal generator is still running! Greatly improve efficiency!

Perhaps it’s so obvious it’s unsaid, but I feel like I have to say it, this sounds really absorbing and brilliant. And clever. Looking forward to ‘playing’ along.

Wow this sounds cool – I think our Dyeworks needs some work on it.
