It occurred to me that the marker system we use in New Babbage has more categories than just ‘commercial,’ and yet no way to display them on the Reader. So I created a new directory (in Useful Links at the top of the home page) and a randomly-generated teaser to show at the top of recent activity.
As a reminder: you can get a marker in City Hall and at the train station, for free. Configuration is straightforward. Don’t forget to change the description in the notecard inside each marker.
Thank you for providing this listing, as I have often wondered how to get to some of the locations I’ve read about. Its nice to have a neat, organized list available to reference whenever….
I’ll add the power station in a moment.
Polenth’s Mushporium shop under the power station is already covered by the other list so I’ll leave that marker where it is.
Interesting, the website will not display Ampersand ‘&’ characters in the names.
You need to put the ampersand in as the ascii value for it to render. I discovered this when adding Pearse’d & Cut to the Merchant Directory.

Thank you, Mr. Archivist, on behalf of newcomers to the city. This will be a very helpful tool in learning about places to visit.
This is a welcome addition.
