Twas the night before Christmas and through a lonely deserted street, Arnold had been running and hiding dreading the sound of booted feet.

Santa was coming of that he feared, the big magic man with a jolly laugh and a white beard.

Arnold did not know much of this Christmas that the other children looked forward to with joy, but of the magic of Christmas had been spoken of by every girl and boy.

Arnold feared magic you see in all of its forms, and so Arnold would not risk staying in any homes or dorms.

As Arnold got older he still took no chances, and never allowed anyone to give him any Christmas advances.

But at the heart of this tale there is still room for hope, for Arnold one year had found many new ways to cope.

So upon this ‘Steam Santa’s’ lap he did finally sit, and asked for peace in Babbage…if only for a bit.

Santa said he would see and later what’s more Arnold found a giant fish meal, for someone had asked that all the cats there would eat as their Christmas deal.

So this tale has a happy end and gone is all of Arnold’s fright…so Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night.
