And now, a word from Doctor Dinosaur

*the airship ‘The Maw’ flies over New Babbage as the built in copper megaphones start up with a screetch of static*

“er, is this thing on? ah, there we go, ahem…People of Babbage!!! your doom is at hand!!!

I have had my metal minions set up doomsday devces, that I named ‘Doom Clocks’ (what do you mean they can’t see me do the finger quotes when I talk?) ahem, yes, Doom Clocks,  They are currently going through your ridiculous city, setting up these devices at strategic points,  When they are all activated, the timer will count down! (what? yes, I can tell time on them, why can’t anyone else? now be quiet! I’m making an anouncement!)  Anyway, You thought the ticking was bad? when the clocks wind down, New Babbage will be reduced to rubble, as the central magnetophlange will power up, causing the helveticanopulator to reverse the rotation of the world, causing massive teutonic stuff!!  And it will all be focused on those locations of the clocks! So our city will be reduced to rubble, Unless, I receive one million as a payoff!!! (of course, i’ll probably just destroy it anyway, I mean, it would make a perfect spot for Raptoria to be built, don’t you think? wait, this is still on? DAMMIT!!!) *sounds of crashing and banging, yelling as a figure can be seen plummeting from the airship, before the megaphones go dead, only to start up again,* “oh, and I am hiring new minions, pick up an application at The Maw, New Babbage, er, somewhere’s in the sky.” *sound of the megaphones going silent*

(( consider this the public knowledge of Doc Dino’s involvement with the doom clocks.  I’ll be rezzing one of the clocks over time at different locations of the city, the total number depends on how many let me rezz a large clock that ticks like an epileptic timepeice on their land.  the casing is very tough to damage, plus it’s not totally certian what they’re supposed to do, *doctor dino changes how they work every time he describes them) so smashing is unadvised, and no, there’s no way of telling what the countdown is at, they’re really completely useless at telling time.  Obviously I don’t expect a million lindens, but then again…
And if the ticking’s too obnoxious, I’ll get on later and take out the scripts))

Spread the love

    The tocking and the ticking
    Of the clocks, clocks, clocks
    The metronomic clicking
    Of the clocks, clocks, clocks…

Orpheus walks over to the fallen body of one of the Dinosaur’s ex-minions. Picking up the head he realizes that Doctor Dinosaur has in fact NOT built robotic raptors as he would like us to believe, but has in fact hired….

    COLDPLAY???

Even I didn’t think the Dinosaur was THAT evil!!!

    Overheard in a bar:

“Apparently he’s going to change the rotation of the world and shift some Germans over here”

“Very nice. Some of our best customers, them. Good thinking of the man. Well done. Where can I get a dome clock? “

::Dr. Sonnerstein stood, staring at the clock on his front lawn, eye twitching:: Tick… tick.. tickticktickTICKTICK! I’ll show you! ::attacks it with his bare hands, trying in vain to pry it loose from it’s apparently deep rooted pilings::
